Attendee Feedback: 2013 Global Fleet Management Conference The Global Fleet Management Conference, held in Phoenix September 30-October 1, was a truly international event, attracting attendees and speakers from around the globe. More than 32 percent of the attendees traveled internationally to learn from global feet subject-matter experts. Here's what they told us: Huge Success The Global Fleet Management Conference was a huge success! I didn't really know what I didn't know. The agenda and the opportunity to network with the other global attendees, as well as suppliers, enabled me to bring back lots of information that I can put to work right away. I took away something from every speaker, which attests to the quality of the speakers and the topics discussed. I especially liked the second day where the topics were less general and more detailed. As we move into a global platform, I wanted to know what other feets had experienced, lessons learned, and the next steps in their programs. I am of a mind that I don't need to reinvent the wheel when the basics of any feet are the same. This also brings to mind what the OEMs said during their panel discussion: "we already have the building blocks," just apply the same knowledge that we have here in the U.S. and Canada to move forward in other countries. I had attached this "scary" idea of moving through this process, because of the lack of local knowledge in those countries about taxes, lease types, OEM agreements, language, etc. But, now I realize it is the same, just different. Brenda Davis Commodity Manager Fleet COE & Temporary Services Baker Hughes Houston the attendees. If the conference becomes too big, it is very diffcult to network with the right people. I will be present at next year's conference. Jan Bouckaert Business Development Sofco NV Zwijnaarde, Belgium Content was Relevant The Global Fleet Management Conference was a great frst conference. It was very timely as we venture into a more centrally managed global feet program. All the content was relevant. Cathy Cook Tillman Director, Fleet, Travel, & Records Management Abbvie Chicago Valuable Conference I found the Global Fleet Management Conference to be valuable and value added. The balance between OEMs, service-providers, and end-users was good. I felt that the sessions were well moderated, insightful, and interesting. I am very much looking forward to participating in next year's conference. Emil Gaynor Global Corporate Strategy Manager Global Dealer Operations Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. Coventry, UK Excellent Mix of Attendees Best Conference Ever The Global Fleet Management Conference was the best conference I have ever attended. The main reason was its size. The 120 participants is about the exact size to allow you to speak with most of Congratulations on a successful conference. There was an excellent mix of customers, OEMs, and FMCs. Jim Sassorossi Director, Fleet Sales Chrysler Group LLC Auburn Hills, Mich. Comprehensive Content I enjoyed the 2013 Global Fleet Management Conference. Overall, the conference was well-planned and executed. It offered a nice mix of structured sessions to open networking time. The range of topics covered was very comprehensive. Tiffany Whittaker Global Fleet Management Leader Jones Lang LaSalle A P&G GBS Partner Chicago An International Flavor I have very positive feedback about the Global Fleet Management Conference. The quality of the speakers, the attendees, and the organization was quite impressive. The presentation on the South African market by Tony Elliot and the European market by Robert Patrick of Merck Sharp & Dohme, along with the presence of Pascal Vitantonio of ALD Brasil, and two other suppliers from the Brazilian market, gave the conference a more international favor. Guillaume Bourst Business Development Manager ALD Fortune Auto Leasing & Renting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Shanghai, China Congratulations I would like to thank you for the great event and congratulate the team that worked hard putting together the event. João Alberto Mazoni Andrade Director General/Managing Director Total Fleet Minas Gerais, Brazil SAVE THE DATE!
